Steering Mount reinforcements

Only really required if wider tires are used, if your not sure and have wide tires, have someone turn your wheels lock to lock while watching the mounts flex.

I had one plate welded on the outside of each mount, but not at right angles. This stops the mounts being over-stiffened, so that in the event of a side impact the steering does not fail altogether.  The  example shown was before I fitted powered steering.
