Twin Exhausts

MGR stainless headers are used running 1 7/8 secondaries.  The holes cut in the inner wings are reinforced with 18 gauge ring plates on the outside, and  removable 3mm alloy plates on the inside.  These inner plate helps put back some of the strength, while reducing the hole diameter and help keep out spay and dirt from the engine bay.

Under the middle section I used a pair of 2" cherry-bombs, with 2" inlets and 1 7/8" outlets, allowing them to mate up to the 2" section pipe leading to the 2 1/4" flattened sections which allow more ground clearance under the axle.

Removal of the leaf-springs has allowed a twin exhaust system to be fitted without moving the petrol tank.

The end cans are Suzuki TL1000 motorcycle items, kindly donated by a friend of mine.
